About the ‘Tropism’ Collection_
Tropism is the growth or movement of a plant in response to an environmental stimulus, such as its change of direction towards light.
Release, flow and be thankful.
This short phrase has been one of my mantras in recent times. At this time in 2021, it is safe for me to say that all of us have gone through extreme changes, in which we have detached ourselves from many situations to flow with what life wants to give us.
This series consists of an evolution of my work, in a "letting myself be carried away" by what I feel inside and by what life mysteriously lets me know. For seven years I have been working my pieces of art on paper in a tenuous palette and a constant technique, however, the strong changes due to the global pandemic have prompted me to explode in color, in techniques and in dimensions that there was not before. explored.
The discovery of this new visual style has led the subjects of the art pieces to "unveil" themselves, in a dance between color, form, two-dimensional and three-dimensional. As I have been rediscovering my identity, the works have been unveiling in front of me.
