About_

Titled "Europa, Zeus, and the Torogoz," the mural commissioned for the Delegation of the European Union in El Salvador is a captivating blend of mythology, symbolism, and cultural exchange. Over seven months, guided by the EU headquarters in Brussels, the mural unfolded as a testament to collaboration and creativity.

The mural portrays Europa, a princess, seated atop Zeus disguised as a white bull, journeying across the ocean. Surrounding them are stars and Torogoz birds, reflecting the fusion of European and Salvadoran identities.

The color palette, inspired by the blue, white, and gold of the European Union flag, infuses the mural with depth and significance. Shades of blue evoke the ocean's vastness, while white symbolizes purity, and gold accents add regal elegance.

Through its intricate details and vibrant imagery, the mural embodies the enduring connections between Europe and El Salvador. It serves as a visual celebration of unity, diversity, and the power of art to transcend boundaries and inspire collaboration.
